Australia's Alex de Minaur will play lucky loser Corentin Moutet for a place in the Citi Open final after blowing away Brandon Nakashim in striaght sets in their quarter-final, winning 6-4 6-4 with relative ease.

De Minaur never looked in any real trouble against the American, and while both players were hitting cleanly and racking up the winners, it was the Australian's superior play at the net that saw him take control.
De Minaur won 81 per cent of his points at the net, and forced Nakashima into 27 unforced errors across the one hour and 36 minute contest, which was briefly affected by rain storms.
