Muguruza announces reirement from tennis
Two-time grand slam champion and former world No.1 Garbine Muguruza has announced her retirement from professional tennis.

The 30-year-old from Spain last played a competitive match in January 2023, a defeat to Linda Noskova at the Lyon Open.
Muguruza won 10 WTA Titles across her career, including two Majors – The 2016 French Open and the Wimbledon crown in 2017.
She became world No.1 in the September after her Wimbledon triumph, and retires with a singles record of 449 wins to 238 defeats.
