Rogic's Celtic draws PSG, Bayern in UEFA Champions League
The UEFA Champions League draw produced a number of mouth-watering group stage match-ups, as Europe's elite clubs discovered who they will face in the continental showpiece.
The journey just got much more difficult for Socceroos star Tom Rogic's Celtic.
Having secured qualification with a swashbuckling two-legged win over Astana, the Scottish champion meets German champion Bayern Munich, French champion PSG - home of Brazilian star Neymar - and Belgian champion Anderlecht, in Group B.
English champion Chelsea, one of five British teams in the draw, meets Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid in Group C - a match that sees Atleti veteran Fernando Torres pitted against the team with which he won the competition in 2012 - alongside Italian runner-up Roma and Azerbaijan club Qarabag, one of two teams playing in the group stage for the first time.
Group D is headlined be 2014 finalists Juventus and Barcelona, also the stars of last season's epic quarter-final, where the Italian champion exacted a measure of revenge over the Blaugrana. Rounding out the group are Greek champion Olympiacos and Portuguese giant Sporting.
UEFA Europa League-winner Manchester United will play Portuguese champion Benfica, swiss champion Basel and Russian champion CSKA Moscow in Group A, while city rival Manchester City meets Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli and Feyenoord in Group F.
Group G pits 2004 finalists Monaco and FC Porto together, with Turkish champion Besiktas and the competition's second debutant, RB Leipzig.
Liverpool will meet Spartak Moscow, Sevilla and Maribor in Group E, while back-to-back defending champion Real Madrid will contend with Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund and Apoel in Group H.
