SPFL post-season fixtures confirmed
The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) has published the post-split fixture list for the 2023/2024 cinch Premiership after another dramatic weekend of football.
Dundee secured its place in the top six on Sunday (AEST), to join Celtic, Rangers, Heart of Midlothian, Kilmarnock and St Mirren in the top half of the table.
The schedule for the final five fixture rounds has now been confirmed, with 30 games to be played across the weekend of 27-28 April, the weekend of 4-5 May, the weekend of 11-12 May, the midweek of 14-15 May and the weekend of 18-19 May.
The final top-six fixtures in this season’s cinch Premiership will take place on Saturday 18 May, while the cinch Premiership bottom six will conclude on Sunday 19 May.
League-leader Celtic begins its post-split fixtures with an away fixture against Dundee while Rangers face St Mirren in Paisley in their opening post-split match.
Both those games will be shown live on beIN Sports on Monday 29 April.
The final cinch Premiership meeting of the title rivals this season takes place at Celtic Park on Saturday 11 May , live on beIN SPORTS, kick-off 12.30pm. beIN will also show Rangers v Kilmarnock (5 May), Rangers v Dundee (14 May), and Kilmarnock v Celtic (15 May).
“It was an exciting three-way battle for the remaining top-six place on Saturday and I’m pleased to be able to announce the fixtures and TV selections for the final five rounds of the 2023/24 cinch Premiership," Calum Beattie, SPFL Chief Operating Officer, said.
It promises to be a hugely exciting run-in, with the title, European places and relegation issue all to be settled over the course of the next few weeks.
“There is so much to look forward to in the remainder of the season, with the play-offs to come next month and it won’t be long before we are starting all over again, with the 2024/25 SPFL campaign already confirmed as kicking off on the weekend of August 3/4.”
