Unbelievable Kilicsoy stunner seals Cagliari win
A sensational solo goal from Semih Kilicsoy earned Cagliari a 2-1 win at Torino in Serie A to move it to within two points of the hosts on the table.
With both sides stuck in the bottom half of the table after indifferent campaigns so far, Torino went ahead through Nicola Vlasic on 27 minutes, but the visitors were level before the break when Matteo Prati scored on the stroke of half-time.
Torino was coming off the back of two straight wins, but it was to be denied a third when on 66 minutes, Kilicsoy picked the ball up in his own half and embarked on a mesmerising run to the edge of Torino's penalty box.
The 20-year-old Turkey international left a trail of confused defenders in his wake before unleashing a shot from 18 yards that bent beautifully in the bottom left corner, giving Alberto Paleari no chance in the Torino goal.
Kilicsoy's strike proved to be the winner, handing Cagliari only its second win in its past five matches and lifting it to 14th on 18 points, one spot and two points behind Torino but, more importantly, clear of the relegation quagmire.
