Tottenham extend Davies's contract to 2026
Tottenham Hotspur has exercised an option to extend Ben Davies's contract until June 2026.
The versatile Wales defender is Spurs' longest serving player having made the switch to north London from Swansea City in 2014.
Davies, 32, has racked up 358 appearances for Spurs, 73 of those in Europe, and he needs just three more to be Tottenham's highest appearance maker in continental competition.
He became a UEFA Europa League winner last month after Spurs defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the final in Bilbao, but he was an unused substitute in the game.
Davies is twice an Carabao Cup runner-up and also made the final of the UEFA Champions League in the 2018-2019 campaign, where Spurs was beaten 2-0 by Liverpool.
With Wales, he needs just five more caps to rack up a hundred appearances for his country, which he represented at two European championships and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
