Quansah ready for next step amid Liverpool exit talk
Jarell Quansah is ready for a bigger role in his football career as the Liverpool defender is linked with a move away from the club.
The 22-year-old made 13 appearances in the Premier League last season, starting just four of those games.
The defender also played in each of Liverpool's matches in its Carabao Cup run but played as a right-back in the final against Newcastle United rather than in central defence.
Quansah has been linked with a potential move to Bayer Leverkusen, which lost Jonathan Tah to Bundesliga rival Bayern Munich.
Speaking ahead of England Under-21's UEFA U21 EURO match against Slovakia, Quansah said he is focused only on what he can control in his future.
"I'm not getting too high or too low with anything," he said. "I think I can take massive learnings from the three seasons I’ve had in professional football.
"From Bristol Rovers until now, to put perspective and look back, I'm in a good position to take the next step. It comes with working hard and staying focused on what I can control.
"As for the future, it'll put me in the best stead if I just keep my head down and keep working."
