Moises Caicedo signs new Chelsea deal
Moises Caicedo has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Chelsea to keep him at the club until 2033.
Caicedo joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion in August 2023 on an eight-year deal, with this new contract set to keep him at Stamford Bridge for another two years.
The midfielder has made 140 appearances for them in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists.
He has also won the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea.
"I am so happy to have extended my contract at Chelsea," Caicedo said.
"I believe in this team, this club, and I know we're going in the right direction. We've only just begun together.
"There is still a lot more to achieve, and I'm very hungry to keep improving every day. I want to win more trophies with Chelsea and give everything for this club and for the fans.
"We have enjoyed some great times together already, and my dream is to become a Chelsea legend, and I will work as hard as possible to make that happen."
Chelsea will face Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend as it attempts to put its bid for a UEFA Champions League place back on track.
It currently sits sixth on the table, four points behind Liverpool above it.
