Abraham was loaned to Besiktas for the 2025-2026 season, with the Turkish club having the option to buy the 28 year-old for £11.2m (€13m).

The English forward has scored 12 goals in 24 games for Besiktas, but is now set for a reported £18m move to former club Villa, where he spent the 2018-2019 campaign on loan from Chelsea.

He joined Roma from the Blues in 2021, scoring 39 goals in 120 games, and helped them win the Conference League in 2022.

Abraham scored 26 goals and provided three assists during his time at Villa, playing a crucial role in its promotion back to the Premier League.

"The conditions in the transfer contract of Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham have been fulfilled and the provision for the permanent transfer of the player has come into effect," Besiktas said.

"In this context, a transfer fee of 13m euros will be paid to AS Roma."
