Europe-chasing Brentford survives Man Utd fightback
Kevin Schade scored twice as Brentford boosted its European hopes after surviving a nervy finish to hold out for a 4-3 win over Manchester United.
Yoane Wissa was also on target as Thomas Frank's side recorded its third straight win, though it was given a late fright at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Mason Mount's 14th-minute strike was cancelled out by a Luke Shaw own-goal, while Schade's header completed the turnaround in the 33rd minute.
The German nodded in his second - and 10th Premier League goal of the season - in the 70th minute, while Michael Kayode got in behind the defence to lay on a tap-in for Wissa four minutes later.
Alejandro Garnacho scored a stunning long-range effort in the 82nd minute, while Amad Diallo gave United hope of an improbable fightback in stoppage time.
It proved too late for the visitor, however, as the Bees climbed a place to 10th in the Premier League table – five positions higher than Ruben Amorim's side.
