Socceroos super-sub rescues point for Cardiff City
Twice-capped Australia international Alex Robertson's rich vein of goal-scoring form continued, the 22 year-old scoring for promotion-chasing Cardiff just one minute after entering the second half of his side's 1-1 draw with Peterborough.
It was Robertson's third goal in his last seven games for the Blue Birds, who remain in second in League One on 78 points, seven ahead of Bradford City with a game in hand.
Robertson, who saw ten minutes of game time for the Socceroos against Curacao last week, will be hoping his strong performances continue to catch the eye of national team boss Tony Popovic, with the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast approaching.
