Bolton to play Stockport County in League One final
Xavier Simons's late winner saw Bolton Wanderers seal a 2-0 aggregate victory over Bradford City to book its place in the Sky Bet League One Play-Off Final.
After a first half of few clear-cut chances, Bradford began to push Bolton deeper after the restart as it pushed for the goal that would have levelled the tie. Wanderers goalkeeper Jack Bonham produced a superb stop to tip Max Power's effort from 20-yards out on to the bar, before Tyreik Wright saw a shot deflect wide.
Kayden Jackson then thought he put the Bantams ahead on the night as he bundled the ball into the net with just over 10 minutes remaining, only for celebrations to be cut short by an offside flag.
That proved to be the turning point as moments later, Bolton broke quickly down the left and substitute Simons kept his composure to fire a first-time finish beyond Sam Walker from inside the area to send Steven Schumacher's side to Wembley.
Bolton will meet Stockport County in the League One Play-Off Final on Sunday, 24 May.
