Stunning Ryan double-save keeps Levante clean
Australia goalkeeper Mat Ryan pulled off a stunning double save from a penalty in stoppage-time as Levante secured a 3-0 win at Sevilla to boost its survival hopes in LaLiga.
Ryan dived to his left to save with his feet from Isaac Romero's spot-kick, before recovering to cover the right side of the goal as Romero headed the rebound back on target.
To compound the misery for the home fans, Carlos Alvarez scored minutes later to add gloss to the scoreline in a match the hosts largely dominated.
Levante is still in trouble, though, second bottom on the table with 13 points, only one above rockbottom Real Oviedo and still five adrift of safety.
For Sevilla, defeat was frustrating, leaving it in 11th spot on 20 points.
