Osasuna comeback extends Getafe's winless run
Osasuna scored in the dying embers of both halves to come back from a goal down and beat Getafe 2-1 in their LaLiga clash on Saturday (AEST).
Getafe, seeking a first win in four matches, went ahead in the 23rd minute when Borja Mayoral bundled the ball home from close range.
But Abel Bretones pulled the home side level in the third minute of stoppage-time at the end of the first half with a quite brilliant strike from distance.
Both sides traded blows in the second half, but it was Osasuna again that caught its opponent napping late in the half, Alejandro Catena nodding home a cross from Raul Garcia in the 90th minute to claim all three points for the hosts.
The win was Osasuna's first in four matches and lifted it to 11th spot in LaLiga, just one point behind Getafe, which sits eigth after producing only one win from its past five matches.
