Flick insists LaLiga title race is not over yet
Barcelona could wrap up the LaLiga title this weekend, its second in a row, but Hansi Flick is only focused on getting a win from its trip to Osasuna.
Flick's side sits 11 points clear of second-place Real Madrid with five games left to play.
It could clinch the title much sooner than that. If Barcelona wins this weekend and Madrid drops points against Espanyol, the Blaugrana will have achieved their goal with four games to spare.
Barcelona comes into this game on the back of a nine-match winning streak in LaLiga, and Flick's main focus is to stretch that run to 10.
"When you coach a club like Barca, it's about winning titles. It is an honour for me. That is the objective," Flick said.
"The atmosphere is fantastic. You can have the best players, but to win titles, you have to have the best team. For titles, you need the best team.
"It makes me happy how they do things: they give everything for this club. The environment is fantastic. All the members are behind the club. We go as one. Also, when you lose. It surprises me a lot.
"They appreciate how the team plays and that they give everything. It makes me feel proud, but we have to keep improving and evolving. But this season is not over yet. So far, we have only won one league title."
Flick lost 4-2 in his first LaLiga meeting with Osasuna – only against Real Sociedad has he suffered two defeats in the competition in four games, winning the other two.
If Barcelona can win against Osasuna, and the rest of its matches in LaLiga this season, it would finish on 100 points.
They would become the third team to reach the 100-point mark in a LaLiga campaign, matching the all-time record set by Real Madrid in 2011-2012 and Barcelona itself in 2012-2013.
"We are focused on the next match, but we want to win them all," he said when asked if Barcelona was aiming for 100 points.
"I'm not good with numbers. It would be perfect to win them all, although the opponents are tough. We have to learn from our mistakes; that is our attitude and mentality.
"I am happy with what I have seen in the sessions. The players are focused."
