Barcelona suffers Kounde injury blow
Barcelona confirmed that Jules Kounde suffered a hamstring injury in its Champions League semi-final draw with Inter.
Kounde started the 3-3 draw in Barcelona, but was forced to go off in the 42nd minute of the first leg, being replaced by Eric Garcia.
Spanish media reported the full-back could be sidelined for three weeks, which would force him to sit out the second leg in Milan next Tuesday, as well as the Clasico against Real Madrid on 11 May.
"Tests carried out on first team player Jules Kounde this morning have shown he has a distal hamstring injury in his left leg," a Barcelona statement read.
The 26 year-old scored the extra-time winner that secured Barca the Copa del Rey in a 3-2 triumph over Madrid last weekend.
Kounde has played 4,423 minutes across all competitions this season, more than any other Barcelona player. He has played all but one of its games this term (53), starting 50 of those.
