Palmeiras sneaks into Copa Lib final
Palmeiras defeated Fluminense 5-3 in a penalty shootout to advance in the 2026 Copa Libertadores final, after the tie finished 2-2 on aggregate.
Palmeiras had won the first leg 2-1 and entered the return match with a narrow advantage. However, Fluminense found the goal itr needed late in the contest to level the tie.
The shootout ultimately went Palmeiras' way, with the Sao Paulo club winning 5-3.
