Wrexham claims eight-goal thriller over Blades
Kieffer Moore scored twice as Wrexham came from behind to beat his former side, Sheffield United, 5-3 in an eight-goal thriller at SToK Cae Ras.
Phil Parkinson's side ended a five-game winless streak by overturning a 3-1 deficit in a highly entertaining Boxing Day clash.
United broke the deadlock in the seventh minute when Femi Seriki's cross was brilliantly flicked into the far corner by Patrick Bamford.
The hosts were level just two minutes later, though, as George Tomason's deep cross was helped back into the six-yard box by Josh Windass, with the ball ricocheting off Tyler Bindon and into his own net.
Chris Wilder's visitors regained the advantage with Bamford turning in another Seriki centre, while Callum O'Hare made it 3-1 when Moore unwittingly diverted a long throw into his path.
Moore made amends at the other end by heading home Tomason's corner in the 28th minute, while the latter's cross seven minutes after the break was nodded in by Ryan Longman.
The Reds completed the turnaround in the 76th minute as substitute Nathan Broadhead fed Wales team-mate Moore, who lifted over Michael Cooper and into the roof of the net.
Wrexham sealed the points nine minutes from time when Windass calmly sent Cooper the wrong way from the penalty spot after Bindon tripped Tomason.
Wrexham has won 12 points from losing positions in the EFL Championship this season, with only league leader Coventry City (13) and Watford (23) recovering more.
This win, moved it up to 13th on the table, while Sheffield United is 19th after a second defeat in three matches.
