Swans steal a point as Coventry's curse continues
A sensational 93rd-minute Liam Cullen free-kick earned Swansea City a late draw at Coventry City in the EFL Championship, extending a 42-year winless run for the home side against the Welsh side.
Cullen smashed home a superb strike deep into stoppage-time, finding the only gap in a sea of players to beat Bradley Collins from just outside the box after substitute Jamal Lowe had earned the free-kick.
Swansea had got off to a fast start with a Liam Walsh opener in the seventh minute, but Coventry levelled three minutes later through a powerful strike from Haji Wright.
Ellis Simms put the hosts ahead on 65 minutes, and it seemed Coventry's winless run over Swansea would finall be broken as the teams went into six minutes of stoppage time.
But up stepped Cullen to bury the late set-piece and ensure it was honours even between the mid-table battlers.
