Xabi Alonso expects a tough match against Eintracht Frankfurt, which beat Bayern Munich 5-1 last weekend in a stunning Bundesliga upset.
Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen side sits on top of the standings, four points clear of Bayern but having played one game more.
While Frankfurt would have been buoyed by its mauling of Bayern last weekend, it will travel to the BayArena on Monday (AEDT) having suffered an upset of its own, losing 2-0 to Aberdeen in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
