Man City complete inaugural Women's World Sevens line-up
The inaugural Women's World Sevens will take place later this month, with two Women's Super League clubs taking part.
Manchester City have joined Manchester United in the inaugural Women's World Sevens tournament in May.
The seven-a-side tournament will take place between May 21 and 23, three days before the Women's Champions League final, in Estoril, Portugal.
City and United, who confirmed their participation last month, will join Bayern Munich, Roma, Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax, Benfica and FC Rosengard in the eight-team tournament.
City's Women Director of Football, Therese Sjogran, said: "The tournament is an exciting new competition for the women's game, and, as a club that continually looks to blaze the trail, we are proud to be part of this milestone moment from the beginning.
"We look forward to bringing our players to Portugal."
The competition will begin with a two-day group phase before moving on to a knockout stage and a final.
City's interim head coach, Nick Cushing, will oversee a side made up of the first-team squad and could take charge of up to five 30-minute matches depending on how far they progress.
