Germany's match against Netherlands cancelled
Hannover police have confirmed that Germany's international against Netherlands has been cancelled.
Four days after the attacks on Paris, Germany's international friendly against Netherlands at the HDI-Arena in Hannover has been cancelled half an hour before kick-off, with local police reportedly receiving a bomb threat.
According to German publication BILD, police announced outside the stadium: "Ladies and gentlemen, dear football fans. I'm sorry, but the game has been canceled at short notice. Please remain calm, there is no danger approaching. Just go quite normal to go home. "
German chancellor Angela Merkel was due to attend the match.
