Rapid Wien and FC Union finish all square
Bundesliga club FC Union was held to a 1-1 draw by Austrian giant Rapid Wien in a spirited pre-season friendly at Allianz Stadion in Vienna.
Tim Skarke opened the scoring for the German club late in the first half, before new signing Claudy Mbuyi levelled the match for the home side midway through the second half.
With a UEFA Conference League qualifying play-off looming, Rapid Wien had the better chances of the pair, hitting the post and seeming the most likely team to grab a winner, albeit the match finished level.
