Matildas begin Montemurro era with a win
Australia defeated Slovenia 3-0 in manager Joe Montemurro's first match in charge.
A first half goals to in-form Emily Gielnik lifted the Matildas to a 1-0 lead which they held for most of the match, before Holly McNamara and Haly Raso struck in the 86th and 87th minutes respectively to add gloss to the scoreline in a commanding win for the new manager.
