Extra time heroics save Braunschweig
Extra time goals from Fabio Di Michele Sanchez and Rayan Philippe salvaged a 2-2 draw for Eintracht Braunscweig in a breathless second leg of its 2. Bundesliga Relegation play-off against Saarbrucken, ensuring Die Lowen lift to fight another day in the German second division.
The appeared desitined for penalties after Saarbrucken took a 2-0 lead in regular time, goals to Florian Kruger and Kai Brunker levelling the tie at 2-2 on aggregate.
However a 91st-minute red card to die Molschder defender Calogero Rizzuto flipped the tie on it's head, with Sanchez and Philippe striking in the dying embers of the match to spark celebratory scenes at Eintracht-Stadion.
