PSG Add Two Reinforcements in Search of a Comeback in the Champions League
Defender Presnel Kimpembe is the only player absent from the squad for the second leg against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals at Paris Saint-Germain, who are bringing back Moroccan Achraf Hakimi and Frenchman Nordi Mukiele in the squad.
Manager Luis Enrique will thus be able to rely on his strongest lineup to try to overturn the adverse result from Parc des Princes (2-3) and qualify for the semifinals for the second time since the Qataris took over the club in 2012.
Hakimi was unable to play in the first leg due to suspension, while Mukiele was absent after receiving a head injury the previous weekend, triggering the concussion protocol that required him to rest.
Luis Enrique has not included goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier, nor players Layvin Kurzawa, Ethan Mbappé, and Senny Mayulu, whom he barely uses, in the squad.
