Antoine Griezmann's return straight into the starting eleven after four games out due to injury, along with the comeback of Nahuel Molina and Stefan Savic, who were substitutes against Cádiz, are the three changes Diego Simeone is considering in the lineup for Atlético Madrid's Champions League second leg match against Inter.

Goalkeeper Jan Oblak; left wing-back Samuel Lino; center-backs Axel Witsel and Mario Hermoso; midfielders Marcos Llorente, Koke Resurrección, and Rodrigo de Paul; and forward Álvaro Morata complete the likely starting lineup for the Argentine coach to overturn the 1-0 deficit from the first leg at San Siro, according to medical tests.

Griezmann is the new addition. He also represents Atlético's hope. Injured in the first leg, with a moderate sprain in his right ankle, he has been absent in the last four matches (the 2-1 victory against Betis, the 2-2 draw with Almería, and the 3-0 losses against Athletic and 2-0 against Cádiz), until his return this Wednesday.

The all-time top scorer for Atlético, with 175 goals, but none in his last eight matches, and the author of five goals in this edition of the Champions League, will return to the attack to partner with Álvaro Morata, pushing Memphis Depay to the bench, who had started in the last two matches.

The other two changes affect the defense, and one, by extension, affects the midfield, as Nahuel Molina's inclusion on the right flank will move Marcos Llorente to the right midfield position.

Within that combination, Saúl Ñíguez will return to the bench, from which Pablo Barrios will also start on Wednesday, fully recovered from the fever he suffered since last Wednesday.

The other change in the lineup is Stefan Savic, who will play as the right center-back in place of Gabriel Paulista. Alongside him, both Axel Witsel and Mario Hermoso will continue. José María Giménez is still unavailable in that line.

In the midfield, apart from Llorente, Koke and De Paul will remain, undisputed in Diego Simeone's scheme despite their recent downturn.
