Bellingham Could Follow in Footsteps of Cristiano, Benzema, and Bale
The Brit could follow in the footsteps of these three Madrid legends by winning the Champions League in his home country.
Jude Bellingham will play his first Champions League final with Real Madrid after defeating Bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate in the semifinals. This means that the 20-year-old midfielder will have the chance to play in the final of the most prestigious club tournament in England, his country of birth, and on the magical turf of Wembley.
With this, Bellingham has the opportunity to emulate three Real Madrid legends, as he must lift the trophy if he wants to match what Cristiano Ronaldo did in Lisbon 2014, Gareth Bale in Cardiff 2017, and Karim Benzema in
Paris 2022, all of whom lifted the title at their home ground.
Now, it will be the young Brit's chance to win the title in front of his own people when Real Madrid faces Borussia Dortmund on June 1st at the magical turf of Wembley, England.
