Jose Mourinho Says YES to Fenerbahce
The Portuguese coach reached an agreement with one of the candidates for president of the Turkish club.
Jose Mourinho is eager to return to coaching, and it won’t be long before he does. After being dismissed by Roma a few months ago, the Portuguese coach is reportedly set to manage again, this time in Turkish football.
According to recent reports, Mourinho is poised to take over at Fenerbahce next season. The former Real Madrid coach has reached an agreement with Aziz Yildirim to become the new manager of the Turkish club.
Aziz Yildirim is a candidate for the Fenerbahce presidency, with elections imminent. If Yildirim is elected president, Mourinho will take charge of the team.
However, Yildirim has expressed his desire for Mourinho to be the Fenerbahce coach regardless of whether he wins the presidency or if the other candidate, Ali Koç, is elected. Thus, Mourinho’s return to the sidelines is nearing, which is great news for football.
