Palmer Wins Award Chelsea Hadn't Seen Since Hazard
Cole Palmer, a player for Chelsea, has been named the team's Player of the Month for April, making him the first Blue to win this award since Eden Hazard did so in September 2018.
The Chelsea forward scored seven goals in four games and also provided an assist in April. The Englishman netted three goals in a 4-3 win against Manchester United and scored four against Everton in the 6-0 victory for the Blues.
Palmer beat out Bruno Fernandes, Josko Gvardiol, Kai Havertz, Jean-Phillipe Mateta, and Jordan Pickford in the voting.
The former Manchester City player, in his first season at Chelsea, has scored 26 goals and provided thirteen assists across all competitions, earning him nominations for both Premier League Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year.
