Arteta Named Premier League's Best Coach of February
The Spaniard led the "Gunners" to win all four games they played last month, scoring 18 goals and conceding only 2. Well-deserved.
Spanish coach Mikel Arteta, manager of Arsenal, has won the award for the best coach of February in the Premier League, bringing his total to seven awards, the same as his compatriot Rafa Benítez.
Arteta and his Arsenal were the only team to win all four games they played in February, against Liverpool, West Ham United, Burnley, and Newcastle United. Additionally, during this period, they scored 18 goals and conceded only two.
The Spanish coach is one award away from Martin O'Neill and Harry Redknapp, and three away from Jürgen Klopp and David Moyes. In the top three are Pep Guardiola, with eleven trophies, Arsene Wenger, with fifteen, and Alex Ferguson, with 27. Arteta is the coach with the fewest games managed in the Premier League among them, with 160.
In the voting, Arteta beat Erik Ten Hag of Manchester United and Pep Guardiola of Manchester City.
