Cole Palmer Achieves Chelsea Milestone After Scoring Four Goals
The young Blues forward scored four goals against Everton and has 11 in the last seven matches. Unstoppable.
Cole Palmer had a magical night in Chelsea's 6-0 thrashing of Everton. The former Manchester City player scored four goals, reaffirming his status as a star at just 21 years old.
It was a perfect night for the Blue forward. Firstly, because he achieved something that no one had ever done at Chelsea: scoring in seven consecutive Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge.
Scoring a poker of goals hadn't been done at Chelsea since Frank Lampard did it in 2010. A lot of time had passed. In fact, back then Palmer was just 7 years old.
Now he's 21 and has become the fifth youngest player in Premier League history to score four or more goals in a single match.
His goals are helping Chelsea climb the table. They are currently ninth with the chance to even reach sixth. In the top scorer's table, Palmer shares the lead with Erling Haaland, both with 20 goals. There will be excitement until the end.
