Alejandro Garnacho Close to Matching Cristiano Ronaldo
Argentinian winger Alejandro Garnacho, who has openly expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, has matched his idol's statistics in his first two seasons.
In Cristiano Ronaldo's debut season, he scored six goals and provided four assists in 40 matches for the Red Devils. Meanwhile, Garnacho, in 34 games, has already notched five goals and four assists, just one goal shy of his idol's tally in his first season.
But in this second season, Garnacho's numbers suggest he might surpass CR7, as Cristiano netted nine goals and made seven assists in his second year at Old Trafford, while Garnacho has already scored nine goals and four assists. Cristiano achieved this in 50 matches, whereas Garnacho has done it in just 40.
The Argentinian winger aims to match or exceed his greatest idol this season, continuing to demonstrate why he's an exciting prospect for Manchester United. Can Garnacho match and surpass Cristiano Ronaldo?
