Toulouse is looking to string together some wins against top-five teams in Ligue 1. After beating Monaco 2-1, the giant killers at home now aimed at LOSC Lille, who were also on a winning streak with Jonathan David, the Canadian, coming off a hat trick.

LOSC Lille dominated possession and bossed the first half offensively, going up 1-0 at halftime. However, Toulouse played the role of David slinging three stones at Goliath (Lille) in the second half to come back and snag their second consecutive win, climbing up to mid-table.

With this result, Toulouse moves up to eleventh place, getting away from the danger zone to battle in the mid-table, while Lille drops to fifth place in the European spots, but loses sight of the top three spots on the table.
