Lens and Monaco starred in one of the most exciting matches of Ligue 1's 23rd week, with a 2-3 victory for the "Rouge et Blanc," thanks to impressive goals from Balogun and Minamino, placing their team in the top 3 of the French championship.
Monaco completely dominated the first half of the match with fantastic offensive play led by Balogun, who put his team ahead with a superb goal in the 19th minute. Later, Minamino increased the lead by taking advantage of a goalkeeper error in the 30th minute. However, Elye Wahi narrowed the gap minutes later, leaving the score at 1-2 and keeping hope alive for Lens in the second half.
In the second half, roles reversed with a great performance from Lens, who continually besieged the opponent's goal.
