Presnel Kimpembe's Serious Injury Scars
PSG's central defender Presnel Kimpembe has been out of action for nearly two seasons due to an Achilles tendon injury, preventing him from competing at the highest level.
He made a comeback on Sunday, May 12, at PSG's field for the celebrations led by Luis Enrique after winning Ligue 1. He later posted on social media a picture revealing the scar on his tendon from his injury.
This injury occurred in November 2022, just before the Qatar World Cup, during a match against Auxerre. Initially thought to be a sprain, it later developed into a complete rupture in February 2023, with a relapse in January 2024.
PSG has shown solidarity and support for their academy graduate, even renewing his contract midway through this season, hoping he can return at the start of the next season at his best.
