Sevilla has Officially Signed a New Mexican Talent
The club announced the transfer this morning, bringing in Juan Carlos Cortéz, a young midfielder from Necaxa.
The 19-year-old player has signed a four-year deal with the Spanish club.
Initially, he will be playing in the Youth Honor Division, gradually climbing the ranks with the aim of reaching the first team and potentially making his debut in LaLiga EA Sports.
Cortéz's journey through various youth divisions at Necaxa, from the Third Division to categories like U18, U20, and recently U23, showcases his development.
His move to Sevilla is seen as an inspiration for young Mexican footballers, offering them an opportunity to pursue their careers in Europe.
Juan Carlos Cortéz joins Miguel Layún and Jesús “Tecatito” Corona as the only Mexicans playing for Sevilla.
