Modric Speaks About His Future: "It's Time to Celebrate; We'll See What Happens"
Luka Modric, Real Madrid's midfielder whose contract expires on June 30th, avoided talking about his future during the celebration of the 36th league title because he considered it's "time to celebrate with the people" and with his "teammates".
"I want to thank everyone for the love they show me every day. I love them too. Well, let's see. It's time to celebrate with the people and my teammates. We'll see what happens," he told the media after the conclusion of the League title celebration.
"It's not the time to talk about that. I want to finish the season well, hopefully come back here again on June 2nd (after the Champions League final) and we'll see what happens in the end," he added.
"It's always a tremendous joy to come here with the Madridistas and enjoy a league that hasn't been easy because we've had many problems. We've shown unity, quality, character, and everything that's necessary to win LaLiga," he concluded.
