Bragantino and Sportivo Luqueño starred in one of the most exciting matches of Matchday 3 of the Copa Conmebol Sudamericana, with a 2-1 victory for the Brazilians who managed to withstand the momentum and determination of the Paraguayans, who came close to equalizing the score. The goals for the victory were scored by Thiago Borbas and Gustavinho, while Marcelo Ferreira found the net for the visitors.

The first half was marked by Bragantino's total dominance, as they took the lead thanks to a superb goal from Borbas in the 28th minute. Later on, they extended their lead in the second half with another goal from Gustavinho in the 47th minute, but the Paraguayan side fought back and tried to turn the tide, although it was not enough despite Ferreira's goal in the 76th minute.

With this result, Sportivo remains in last place with zero points, while Bragantino sits in second place with six points.
