Germán Cano Names Daughter 'Leonella' in Honor of Messi and Antonela
The super striker of Fluminense, Germán Cano, made a promise during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and fulfilled it the following year, paying tribute to Lionel Messi and his partner, Antonela Roccuzzo.

Although he never played alongside Messi in the Albiceleste, the leading goal-scorer of the Copa Libertadores promised to name his daughter 'Leonella,' who was born in August 2023, 'Leo' for 'Lionel' and 'Nela' for the partner of the Argentine superstar who helped secure Argentina's third World Cup.
