Fluminense Suspend Four Players for Misconduct
Fluminense has sidelined players John Kennedy, Kauã Elias, Arthur Wenderroscky, and Alexsander Gomes for the next two games due to "acts of indiscipline" that occurred in the match against Vasco de Gama last Saturday, as announced by the club this Tuesday on their official account.

Fluminense did not provide details about the events that led to this suspension, which means the four players will not be available for the Libertadores match against Paraguayan side Cerro Porteño this Thursday in Paraguay.
They also won't be able to compete in the Brazilian league match scheduled for this Saturday against Corinthians at the club's stadium in São Paulo.
The acts of indiscipline took place last weekend when the team led by Fernando Diniz defeated Vasco 2-1 at the Maracanã Stadium in the Brazilian league.
According to Brazilian media, the four sidelined players hosted a party with women at the team's hotel.
John Kennedy was Fluminense's hero in last year's Copa Libertadores, scoring a goal against Boca Juniors that led the carioca team to be crowned champions for the first time in the history of the continental tournament.
The forward has a history of disciplinary problems, which in 2022 led Fluminense to demote him to the under-20 team and then loan him to Ferroviario, a club that plays in the third national category.
In March 2023, Diniz brought Kennedy back to Fluminense, where this incident has once again put all eyes on the behavior of the forward.
