PSG Coach Luis Enrique Praises Lucas Beraldo's Adaptation
PSG coach Luis Enrique expressed surprise on Friday at the "spectacular adaptation" of Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo (20 years old), signed from Sao Paulo last January, and considered him "a player for the future" for the Parisian club.
"Considering that he is such a young player, who doesn't speak the language, who comes from Brazil, without knowing anyone, he has had a spectacular adaptation," said the Spanish coach in a press conference, on the eve of the league match against Le Havre that could see PSG secure their twelfth French championship.
Luis Enrique described the signing of the Piracicaba youngster as a "great reinforcement" and attributed it to the sporting director, Portuguese Luis Campos. "He is a player for the future for PSG, at least as long as he is here."
