Klopp Confirms Arne Slot's Summer Move to Liverpool
Liverpool's current manager, Jürgen Klopp, has confirmed the imminent arrival of Dutchman Arne Slot, current manager of Feyenoord, to the club in the summer, asserting that he will find it to be "the best job in the world."
"This is the best job in the world," Klopp stated in a press conference on Friday. "It's the best club in the world. A great job, a great team, and fantastic people. Slot would find an interesting position here," the German added.
Slot, who has only coached three teams in the elite: Cambuur, AZ Alkmaar, and Feyenoord, is the favorite to succeed Klopp in the role, after nearly nine years and all the major titles achieved.
The coach, who won an Eredivisie title and a Dutch cup with Feyenoord, confirmed on Thursday that negotiations for his move to Liverpool are already underway and it is no secret that he wants to end up in the Anfield dugout.
In addition to the aforementioned domestic titles, he reached the final of the Conference League in 2022, where they lost to Roma.
