The Paris Saint-Germain star capitalized on a corner kick delivered by his teammate Hakim Ziyech, volleying the ball to give Morocco an early lead in the 6th minute.

Hakimi marked his ninth goal for the Moroccan national team and notched his third goal in AFCON tournaments, having scored two stunning free-kicks in the previous edition.
