The Cause of The Shooting at The Chiefs' Celebration Come to Light
Shooting at the Super Bowl celebration parade in Kansas City, Missouri, left one dead and 22 injured, authorities said. "Preliminary investigation results have shown no link to terrorism or domestic violent extremism," said Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves.
"It appears to have been a dispute among several people that ended in gunfire," she added.
At the press conference, it was reported that the ages of the 22 projectile-wounded ranged from 8 to 47 years old, with half of them being under 16. Also, two of the three detainees are minors, and the police seized numerous weapons.
The incident took place near Union Station, Kansas City's central railway station, the final point of the Kansas City Chiefs' celebration parade and a gathering point for thousands of fans.
