Hungarian beach handball player Luca Vajda has hailed the organization of the 2019 ANOC World Beach Games, ahead of her countries final against Denmark later today.
“The organization has been really good! We have a chance to do everything, such as eat well and be healthy."
"In terms of preparing for the matches, we can relax, and the weather is perfect for beach handball! Perhaps slightly warm, but this is a beach game!”
Vajda has been a key player in the Hungary team as they look to win the gold medal at the Doha tournament. Having defeated the likes of the USA, Greece and Vietnam on route to the final, the 23 tear old hailed the level of competition.
The best handball sides in the world have come to Doha, so the level is very high. This is the first world tournament for me and I have really enjoyed the experience so far.”
