The scoreline changed as early as the second minute. Spain put together a quick passing move, with Lamine Yamal receiving the ball near the edge of the box. The Barcelona winger cut inside and curled a well-placed shot past Dominik Livaković to give Spain an early 1-0 lead.

Croatia responded in the 28th minute when Ivan Perišić delivered a cross from the left and Dion Beljo rose above the defense to head the ball home and make it 1-1.

Spain responded just three minutes later. In the 31st minute, Lamine Yamal played a short corner before receiving the ball back and delivering a precise cross into the box. Marc Pubill arrived from deep and headed the ball into the net to restore Spain's lead at 2-1.

YAMAL'S BRACE AND A STUNNING GOAL FROM NICO

Spain continued to control the game after halftime and extended their lead in the 63rd minute. Pedri spotted Lamine Yamal's run and threaded a pass through to the forward, who raced toward Livaković before calmly finishing to make it 3-1. The Barcelona star had completed his brace.

With Croatia searching for a way back into the match, Nico Williams put the game beyond doubt in the 89th minute. The winger picked up the ball on the left, took on his defender, accelerated past him and unleashed a powerful shot that beat Livaković once again to make it 4-1.

The victory gives Spain six points from their opening two matches and extends La Roja's unbeaten run to 40 consecutive games.
