When Is the UEFA Champions League Final Between PSG and Arsenal?
The UEFA Champions League final is officially set, as PSG and Arsenal prepare to battle in Budapest for European glory.
The UEFA Champions League season now has its two finalists confirmed. PSG and Arsenal will face off for the European crown on Saturday, May 30, at the Puskás Arena in Budapest, in a historic matchup between two clubs with very different stories in the competition.
The English side returns to a Champions League final for the first time in two decades, while the Parisian club aims to defend the title it won last season and continue building its growing legacy in Europe.
When and What Time Is the Final?
The final between PSG and Arsenal will take place on Saturday, May 30, in Budapest, Hungary. Kickoff times are scheduled as follows:
- 12 PM ET
- 11 AM CT
- 10 AM MT
- 9 AM PT
The match will feature two of the strongest teams in the tournament after surviving intense semifinal battles.
How Arsenal and PSG Reached the Final
Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, secured its place in the final after defeating Atlético de Madrid 2-1 on aggregate. Following a draw in the first leg, the “Gunners” finished the job in London thanks to a decisive goal from Bukayo Saka, booking only the second Champions League final appearance in club history.
The North London side previously reached the final during the 2005/06 season, when they fell to Barcelona. Now, they will attempt to capture the first Champions League trophy in club history.
On the other side, PSG, led by Luis Enrique, advanced to a second consecutive final after overcoming Bayern Munich in a dramatic semifinal filled with goals and controversy. The French side held firm in Germany and closed out the series with a 6-5 aggregate victory, keeping its title defense alive.
The reigning champions will now play in the third Champions League final in club history. After losing the 2020 final against Bayern Munich, the Parisian side lifted its first European trophy last season with a dominant victory over Inter.
Previous Meetings Between PSG and Arsenal
Although this is not one of Europe’s traditional rivalries, PSG and Arsenal already share history in the Champions League. Across five previous meetings, the French club holds the advantage with two wins and two draws, while the English side has managed only one victory.
