PSG Confirms the Worst with Lucas Hernández
Paris Saint-Germain confirmed that Lucas Hernández suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in his left knee, hours after he left the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
"Lucas Hernández, who was injured during the UEFA Champions League match between Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in his left knee.
The MRI performed today confirmed the diagnosis established by the club's doctors on Wednesday night," the club said in a statement posted on social media.
The defender suffered his injury during the play of the only goal of the match, scored by Füllkrug, who beat Donnarumma with a powerful left-footed shot in the 36th minute. The PSG defender twisted his left knee while chasing the Dortmund forward and was substituted in the 42nd minute for Lucas Beraldo after unsuccessfully trying to continue in the match.
