A truce in Santos

It seems that a truce has been reached in the Santos locker room between Neymar Jr and Robinho Jr. , who earlier this week had an encounter that was interpreted as a misunderstanding during training, and generated a lot of media attention after what happened between the two Brazilian players went viral. The relationship between the two would have been mended when Neymar Jr was seen running toward the bench to hug Robinho after his goal.

A meeting between those affected

Both players had the opportunity to speak in the mixed zone once the match ended in a 1-1 draw against Recoleta as visitors, and they appeared as just two players, in a way, as if they had reached a truce. A fight that started with punches during a training session seems to have been resolved and is no longer one of the issues complicating Santos behind closed doors.

"It was just a misunderstanding during training, but I overreacted. I apologized immediately afterward, both in the locker room and in front of the entire team. If a public apology was necessary, this is it," clarified Neymar Jr.

"I am disappointed because Neymar has been my idol since I was a child, but he apologized and admitted his mistake.Everything is fine now," he added after asking for his teammate and team's number 10's contract to be terminated, something he highlighted as an impulsive reaction.
